Propane Cylinder Refills and Exchanges in Oakland Park, Ft. Lauderdale, and Nearby South Florida Communities

We’ll make fill-up’s and exchanges super easy and convenient.

Propane cylinders play a key role in making your South Florida outdoor spaces enjoyable.

The one you may be most familiar with is the power they provide for our grills—which help us make delectable grilled dinners from burgers and hot dogs to fresh-caught grouper to grilled pork with mojo sauce! However, you can also use propane grills, outdoor cookers, and camp stoves to take your tailgating to the next level, too! Propane cylinders additionally create comfortable places to gather in your back yard, thanks to propane fireplaces, firepits, and patio heaters.

To enjoy all these great benefits, you need to have filled propane cylinders. Pico Propane has propane cylinder refill and exchange services at our offices located in Fort Lauderdale (350 NE 44th Street in Oakland Park) and Downtown Miami (1060 SW 27 Avenue in Miami) during regular business hours. Please note that our West Palm Beach location does not offer propane cylinder refills.

REMEMBER: Safety first!

We value our Pico Propane customers and want to make sure you safely transport and handle your propane cylinders when bringing them for refill or exchange. Here are some important tips.

  • Transport propane cylinders upright. Cylinders can leak when on their sides
  • DO NOT leave a full tank inside your car for any length of time, especially in the summer.
  • NEVER smoke while handling or transporting propane cylinders.
  • Cylinders that have a capacity of 40 pounds or less can be transported in the cab, but only if the total capacity of the cylinders being driven is 90 pounds or less. That means you can carry up to four 20-pound cylinders this way.

Pico Propane follows strict safety standards for propane cylinder refills. We cannot refill propane cylinders that are damaged or that show signs of corrosion or excessive rust. We will not refill a propane cylinder that is not certified or that does not pass a checklist provided by the Department of Transportation.
